Update: Spectrum Colour Watch Relaunch Sells Out, Hagley West and Tim Hayden Raise £54K for the National Autistic Society!
We are thrilled to share the incredible news that the relaunch of our Spectrum Colour Watch on Sunday, September 29, 2024 was an overwhelming success! Once again, all watches sold out, and with this event, Hagley West and Tim Hayden have raised a total of £54,000 for the National Autistic Society (NAS).
This year’s efforts include £26K raised in April during World Autism Acceptance Week and an additional £26K from the relaunch. The support from our community has been nothing short of extraordinary, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who helped make this campaign such a resounding triumph.
Tim Hayden’s Mission for Autism Awareness and Acceptance
Tim Hayden, the CEO and founder of Hagley West, has a personal connection to autism as his child is autistic. His commitment to raising awareness and promoting acceptance remains at the heart of these campaigns. Tim expressed his gratitude for the continued support, saying:
“We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from our community. The fact that the Spectrum Colour Watch sold out once again proves how much people care about promoting autism acceptance and supporting the National Autistic Society. Together, we have raised vital funds that will make a real difference in the lives of autistic people and their families.”
Looking Ahead: A New Watch Edition in 2025
Following the success of the Spectrum Colour Watch, Tim will be designing a brand-new watch edition, set to be released in April 2025 as part of World Autism Acceptance Month. This upcoming design will continue to raise awareness for autism and further solidify Hagley West's commitment to making a difference through both fashion and advocacy.
Peter Watt, Director of National Programmes at NAS, shared his thoughts on the ongoing partnership:
"We are absolutely delighted to partner with Hagley West once again. The funds raised by these events are essential to helping us provide tailored support and services to autistic individuals and their families. The continued awareness generated by Tim Hayden’s campaigns is invaluable in promoting acceptance and understanding in society."
Tim Hayden’s Journey to the London Marathon 2025
Tim’s dedication to the cause goes beyond his work with Hagley West. As part of his #LoveYourJourney campaign, he is preparing to run the London Marathon 2025 in support of the NAS. His global training journey has already begun, taking him through diverse locations around the world, reflecting his commitment to personal growth and autism awareness.
Each step Tim takes in his marathon training symbolises the continuous journey toward greater acceptance and understanding of autism. His #LoveYourJourney ethos highlights the importance of embracing the process of growth, learning, and overcoming challenges—values that align closely with the mission of the NAS.
We thank everyone who has joined us on this journey so far and contributed to such a meaningful cause. With the Spectrum Colour Watch now officially sold out and £54K raised for the National Autistic Society, we are already looking forward to our next steps together!
Stay tuned for more updates, and mark your calendars for April 2025, when we unveil our next exciting watch design in celebration of World Autism Acceptance Month.
