Launch of the new Women’s Range

Last week, we made history with the launch of our new women’s range, ‘Inspiration,’ and it was an incredible success! Despite some supply chain challenges, we managed to sell a record-breaking 133 watches in a single day, surpassing our previous best of 77. To celebrate hitting 100 sales, Tim grabbed his cricket bat for his first-ever “century”—a nod to his love for cricket. We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported us during this exciting launch! This women’s collection marks an important milestone for Hagley West. Up until now, our customer base has been predominantly men, and the ‘Inspiration’ range represents a bold new step in our strategy to expand the brand. Launching a women’s line allows us to diversify and reach a broader audience, offering the same minimalist, stylish watches with designs that reflect the strength and resilience of women. We believe this is not only a new chapter for Hagley West but a significant opportunity to grow our business and connect with even more customers. The ‘Inspiration’ range is about more than just watches; it’s about celebrating the incredible journeys of women around the world. To mark this launch, we are honouring the stories of five extraordinary women, each of whom has overcome significant challenges and embodies the core values of our brand—gratitude, joy, resilience, and the love of the journey: Watch 1 – Lynda: Lynda’s husband was one of the first black officers in the Metropolitan Police Force. He tragically died in the course of his duties when she was just 20, 1 week away from expecting their son. Part of the Windrush generation, Dr Lynda Ince-Greenaway also faced discrimination and hardship, but went on to gain a doctorate in social work, becoming a force for good in society.  Lynda is now a qualified social worker, life coach, motivational speaker and author.   Watch 2 – Tulsi: Tulsi Vagjiani survived a tragic air disaster at age 10, which claimed her entire family and left her with severe burns. Despite over 50 surgeries, she became a Reiki Master Teacher and motivational speaker, inspiring others through her journey of healing and resilience.   Watch 3 – Nequela: After serving time in prison as a teenager, Nequela Whittaker transformed her life, earning a degree in social science and founding a youth organisation that helps young people make better life choices, turning her own adversity into an inspiration for others.   Watch 4 – Sarah: Artist Sarah Graham has faced severe mental health struggles, including bipolar disorder and two suicide attempts. Through her hyper-realistic art, she has found healing and now uses her work as a tool for recovery, channelling positivity and hope.   Watch 5 – Nicola: Nicola Barke, the ‘Burmese Python,’ has overcome narcolepsy, a serious car accident, and other challenges to achieve top honours in martial arts. She is now a professional boxer, proving that no obstacle is too great when you follow your passion. You can read more about these amazing women here. Record-Breaking Launch Day for Hagley West's New Chrono Range!

Yesterday was an exciting milestone for Hagley West as we launched our new red and green Chrono watches, and it turned out to be our most successful day yet! We sold an impressive 77 units, surpassing our previous record of 71. To put this in perspective, back in January, our best sales day was just 10 watches—proof of the rapid growth we’ve experienced this year. The Chrono is Hagley West’s all-purpose timepiece, designed to blend style and versatility. Precision-crafted for any occasion, this Quartz Chronograph watch features a striking 43mm polished stainless steel case and bracelet, along with a matching buckle clasp for a secure fit. Its sunburst dials with silver sub-dials brings an extra touch of boldness, making it a perfect statement watch for everyday wear. Looking ahead, we’re excited to keep building on this momentum. We’ve got a lot in store, including the launch of our women’s range in September, our first pop-up shop, a new podcast, and even more designs coming this November! Hagley West, Partner with the JP21 foundation

Cricket is deeply rooted in our DNA, and from the very start South African cricket legend JP Duminy has supported Hagley West with some of our earliest campaigns. Over the last couple of years we have developed a close relationship with JP and his foundation. The JP21 Foundation helps support local community's, by building cricket pitches in schools, and giving kids in underprivileged areas of the Western Cape access to the game they love. We are very proud to announce that we are launching a partnership with the JP21 Foundation. We are committing to donating one square metre of turf for every watch sold to build cricket pitches in underprivileged communities in South Africa. This is something we plan to continue to grow. We'll be launching this project on the 8th of June to coincide with the re-launch of the business.  #HWJourney

What an incredible few days it's been. We've had a phenomenal response to launching our 'Love Your Journey' series. So far we've covered stories that have captured the imagination of 2.5 million viewers. Thousands of positive comments across our platforms have poured in, in support for the 'Love Your Journey' campaign. You may remember that we shared a truly inspiring story of the cricketer, Billy Cookson, who not only survived an horrific car crash, but defied the odds to take to the cricket field exactly one year later! The story doesn't end there...soon after launching Billy's video, we received hundreds of messages paying tribute to Billy's bravery. Professional cricketers from all over the globe sent video messages of support to the man who had been through so much. With our huge plans to reach a global audience, we have taken steps to protect the Love Your Journey domain. After a few short negotiations we are delighted that we have secured the loveyourjourney.com domain name. We have exciting plans to continue growing LYJ into other areas, which we will continue to share with you. #HWJourney

Tiktok is the fastest growing social media app and Hagley West have already started creating videos and putting across the Love Your Journey brand. We've experimented with a handful of story form videos, sharing CEO Tim Hayden's journey through business. The original post depicting Tim's journey has now amassed over 500,000 views and gained 15,000 followers on his personal TikTok account (@timhayden6). We now know that this strategy works, so we're asking for your help. We need to hear from you if you've had an interesting or amazing journey in your life. When we first set out on our journey, following 6 lengthy months of consideration, market research and a hint of gut instinct we finally nailed down our first range of watch designs. On March 28th 2017 we launched our business online with 12 original designs, which we built up to a range of 24 watches using different interchangeable strap designs. In June this year we'll unveil 13 exciting new watches that will replace our 2017 designs. This new range will include 8 redesigned Chronographs and 5 '333' Chris Gayle inspired watches.
